A few words from Dominica Williamson who has been co-developing workshop material with the Hearing Voices Network...

The group's first visit was in June 2015 where they fell for their working environment; the freedom of walking paths on a Friday (void of other people) and the wonderful light of the polytunnel classroom, both helped them relax, play and co-create.

The group is small, and the work is based on a small walk; four stops in the lower garden that were chosen with a Trengwainton gardener as the best four places for slightly different mud. These four places signify different aspects of the garden.

Drawing on this process and using different mud-paint making techniques, the group and I are seeking to continue co-creating. One person is working towards mud marbled papers, another printed leaf patterns and compressed walks and the groups other focus of calico fabric could lead to dyed structures. It's hoped their work might appear as background paper to the pages of the project book that will help to share their diverging but combined interest.
